Jonathan Chunoff started off the weekend round of gallery openings Friday evening at go mama go! with the works of MeiMei Chang. “Mnemonic Fragmentation” will be on display at the store through February (1809 14th Street NW north of S Street).

Chang says that the source of her art is the psyche and its mysterious ways. She says that she “works with multilayered and patterned surfaces creating maps of the mind,” including an awareness of similarities and differences between Eastern and Western cultures.

Also… this weekend go mama go! has a 20%-off sale, January 15-16.
