Out and about in the neighborhood this weekend we saw that El Centro D.F. on 14th Street NW — the taqueria brainchild of chefs Richard Sandoval and Kaz Okochi of Masa 14 — is coming along quite nicely. Metrocurean reported recently that they’d like to be open by Cinco de Mayo. Think they’ll beat the ticking clock?
In other news, still completely baffled by wine pairing? Neighborhood (and my) favorite, Ansonia Wines launched a new service this weekend.
