There is a new legal development in the Robert Wone murder case from 2006. Wone was found stabbed to death in a house on the 1500-block of Swann Street NW in August 2006. The Washington Blade has the story in today’s print edition:
From the Washington Blade: “A D.C. Superior Court judge has ordered the postponement of a $20 million wrongful death lawsuit against three gay men implicated in the murder of Washington attorney Robert Wone. Judge Brook Hedge on Thursday effectively put the civil case on hold until criminal trial proceedings against the men are completed. Hedge approved a motion seeking a “stay” in the civil case that was filed by attorneys for gay defendants Joseph Price, Price’s domestic partner, Victor Zaborsky, and the couple’s friend and roommate, Dylan Ward.”

Errrrrrrrrrrrr hmmmm…….”Couples friend and roomate”? Wasn’t Ward an active partner within the couple’s “union” and a well known master in DC’s BDSM scene? Is the fact that Price worked for Arent Fox Law Firm and recently made partner (just before the murder) a reason for the judge to drop all charges? And what is the deal with the female tenant and what she knows? Also, why is Ward’s publishing company housed in Thailand? Seems weird to say the least.
A few local guys have been tracing this crime and case pretty closely.
