There are two ways you can help Ross Elementary School this weekend. Ross School is on the 1700 block of R Street NW and serves students up through Grade 5.

Ross School is holding it 2nd Annual Auction and Gala on Saturday April 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The German Marshall Fund of the United States at 1744 R Street NW; the event is open to the public. The goal is to raise $20,000 after raising $13,000 last year for the purchase of SmartBoards. This year’s funds will be used for furniture, books and materials.

Ross School needs books for its reading library. There will tables in front of the 17th Street Safeway on Saturday (10 am-2 pm) and at the Dupont Farmers’ Market on Sunday (9 am-1 pm). Call 202-244-5117 for more information.
