Drivers and Cyclists in D.C: Still Could Use Some Work
Greater Greater Washington notes that, despite bike lanes, many drivers and cyclists could use some education to coexist more harmoniously. The tips included in the article are pretty basic manners, which is probably why it is so groundbreaking for the city’s travelers.
Prince Charles at D.C. Community Garden
Prince Charles was in D.C. on an action-packed visit. After the White House, he made a stop at a LeDroit Park Community Garden and talked sustainable food. Washington City Paper snapped some great pictures of his visit that you should check out. It’s not a Princess Beatrice hat, but it’s still pretty cool.
Post Decides the Capital is Hip
The Washington City Paper had a great time writing this piece mocking the Post‘s story on the rise of the young, cool crowd in D.C. I wish they’d make up their minds over there; Courtland Milloy seems to think this cool crowd is ruining the city, remember? I can freely admit I’ve bemoaned the fact that hipsters are literally crawling over the city, but let’s be real, if you have to note it in one of the nation’s top papers, it is probably not ‘cool’.
