Point Chaud Cafe & Crepes, the long waited crepes spot on 14th Street, had a soft  opening this past weekend. It is located on the west side, south of S Street. 14th & U has the story.

    I had lunch there today and it was delicious. Just about every combination of savory or sweet crepe you can think of. They do give you the option of white or whole wheat flour for the crepe and several choices of cheese. I do wish they had some sort of side salad option to go with the crepe, hopefully that will come in time.

    Nice to have a unique, low cost dinning option on 14th street. Thumbs up!

    If they opened a little later than their posted time, no worries, that means they are seriously French.

    Would have tried it Saturday morning, but no one showed up to open it on time… any reviews?
