The Capital Pride Parade makes its way though the neighborhood today, Saturday June 9. Kickoff is at 4:30 pm and contingents of marchers and floats from all around the city will walk, cheer and dance through the streets of Dupont-Logan (see the map).

Lending a helping hand to the festivities are a number of stores, bars and restaurants in the neighborhood, showing the LGBT rainbow pride colors. Pictured are some of the businesses on P, U, 14th and 17th Streets NW.

Tomorrow is the Capital Pride Festival on Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd and 7th Streets NW, with Deborah Cox as the headliner.
