Etto, a new restaurant that is coming to the corner of 14th and Q streets NW,  is taking over the location of what was formerly WellBuilt, a furniture store. Before that, the spot was home to Candida’s World of Books.

The place has been going through an interior renovation for the last couple of months. Tad Curtz of Standard at 1801 14th Street NW, has been on site supervising and working on details. Etto is one of the many Italian themed restaurants populating 14th Street NW.

Etto will be opening at the end of January; it means “100 grams” in Italian and the phrase is often used when purchasing food.
