Borderstan Goals

What do the residents of Borderstan want in terms of public safety?

1. Commitment from MPD for coordinated, regular, permanent Borderstan patrols on BOTH the PSA 307and PSA 208 sides of the border. 
2. Stepped up drug enforcement efforts in the entire Borderstan area — NOT just one block. – to include vice operations and plainclothes officers on an ongoing basis. 
3. Owners and management of the buildings of the 1400 block of R Street held accountable to enforce the law and rules of the Section Eight Housing. 
4. Increased and institutionalized communication and coordination of initiatives between PSA 208 and PSA 307.

Unfortunately, making our community safe is a marathon effort, not a sprint.By keeping up communication and pressure, we WILL succeed.
