Wanted! Photos, Info on 17th St. Bank Robbery

Here is the Wanted Poster from the 2nd District MPD for the bank robbery at Adams National Bank on 17th Street NW that occurred Wed., Sept. 3. From the poster:

On September 2, 2008, at approximately 1:30 pm, a black female entered the Adams National Bank at 1604 17th Street, NW, displayed a silver handgun and announced a robbery. After robbing the establishment, the subject fled the scene. The subject was last seen operating a dark blue SUV resembling a Chevy Trail Blazer with Virginia tags (partial tag number KAH-435 or VAH-435).

The subject is described as a black female in her late 30s to mid 40s, 5’6″-5’7″ in height, with a heavy build and black shoulder-length braids. She was wearing

dark sun glasses, a decorative navy blue scarf, a blue sweatshirt, and white pants. She had a glove on her right hand and was armed with a silver handgun.

The case is under investigation by members of the Department’s Robbery Task Force and the FBI Bank Squad.
