PSA 208 Weekend Crime Roundup

Here are some crimes that occurred in PSA 208 over the weekend, all of them just outside West Borderstan (courtesey of MPD’s Sgt. John McDonald, PSA 208).

  • ABRA Incident: 1639 R Street NW, 12:05 a.m. Complainant reports that while at the Cobalt Nightclub he left his drink unattended and believes someone slipped a narcotic into his drink. He became incoherent after consuming his beverage. The complainant was later arrested at the Argentinean Embassy for trespassing. The complainant also claims that he was criminally assaulted at the Argentinean Embassy, which is being investigated by the U.S. Secret Service.
  • Robbery (Force and Violence): 1748 Willard Street NW, 2:26 a.m. Complainant reports that he was approached by the suspects who demanded that he give up the money. The complainant told the suspects that he did not have any money and they started punching him about the face causing a laceration to his bottom lip. The suspects went through his pockets and took his black wallet and $50. Lookout for suspect (1) is a B/M, 6’0″, wearing a red-and-white jersey with long dreads. Suspects 2 is B/M, 5’9″.
  • Robbery (with Gun): 1600 Swann Street NW, 12:58 a.m. Complainant reports he was approached by the suspect and asked for a cigarette light. The complainant said, “No,” and kept walking. The suspect followed the complainant, produced a black-colored handgun and took the complainant’s wallet form his pants containing $60. The suspect fled on foot, southbound onto Swann Road NW. Lookout is for a B/M, 18-26 years old, 5’8″, medium build, wearing a black skull cap, green jacket, white shirt, and black pants, armed with a dark-colored handgun.
  • Robbery Force & Violence: 1500 block of 17th Street NW, 1:40 a.m. Complainant reports he was standing in the block, when the suspect approached him from behind, pointed a sharp object into his back and stated, ” Gimmie all your money!” The complainant then gave the suspect his money, and the suspect fled eastbound onto Corcoran Street. Stolen was a cell phone and $30.00. Lookout for a B/M, 20-years-old, 5’8″, 150lbs, medium complexion.
