Greetings, Borderstanians. The DC AIDS Walk 2008 is next Saturday, October 4, with a kick-off time of 9:15 a.m. at Freedom Plaza at 14th and Pennsylvania NW. The 5K (3.1 miles) walk/run benefits Whitman-Walker Clinic and people living with HIV/AIDS. Olympic Diving Gold Medalist Greg Louganis is this year’s grand marshall of the walk
If you are walking and raising money, we will be glad to create a link here on Borderstan.com to your donations page. Please send me your information and page link by 5 p.m., Tuesday, September 30. Send an email to [email protected]. I would like to do a posting on Tuesday evening with links to Borderstanians’ AIDS Walk donation pages.
