  1. This is getting ridiculous….

There simply need to be police from corner to corner on 14th and 15th from P to U Street.

Yes… it’s that simple. Line of sight down the block from officer to officer and this crap stops.

Aside from that, I think it’s time for another “All Hands on Deck” this weekend. Maybe these thugs will be stupid enough to get caught with the increased patrol levels.

    Two robberies (possibly related)

    Jan. 9 2009

I and four other women were the victims of a robbery at a Nail Salon on Fl. Ave. NW (at Conn. Ave. across from Rite-Aid) on January 9 at approx. 7:15 pm. Three men, masked and with semi-automatic hand guns entered the salon, demanded we sit with hands in air, robbed register and personal belongings (wallets, handbags, cell phones, blackberry, computer), frisked us, put us in back room on floor and instructed us not to emerge until 7:25, allowing them enough time to flee. We called the police at approx. 7:27.

    Jan. 16 2009

Two men, masked and with guns entered liquor store (below Nail Salon-above) at approx. 11:45 am, tied up employee’s hands and robbed register and possibly took other items. I do not have all the details. But police believe two robberies may be related.
