Shaw Dog Park: Surface Improvements to Graveled Area
Improvements were recently made to the graveled surface area at Shaw Dog Park, 11th & R NW.
There have been improvements to the graveled surface area at Shaw Dog Park, 11th and R NW. I haven’t seen them, but my partner took our dog there recently and reported that the majority-gravel part of the park seemed less rough and more inviting to dogs. Glad they did this–dogs were tending to ignore large parts of the graveded area and congregate on the 25% that is filled with mulch. There is also a notice at Shaw Dogs about the surface improvements, but it’s lacking in specifics. Anyone have details? If the temperature climbs above 30 degrees, I’ll see for myself!
