MONDAY: Meeting on Rooftop Burglaries
Borderstanians: Rob Halligan has organized a meeting for area residents to discuss the rooftop burglaries in the Dupont Circle neighborhood with a police representative.

For those who have info on or want more info about the spree of Dupont rooftop burglaries. We are meeting in 1719 Swann Street at 7 p.m. Peggy Simpson has graciously invited us into her (very large) living room.
Captain Joshua Ederheimer (CCed) has taken over the accumulating of and tracking of cases. If you haven’t heard from him and have rooftop burglary details, please try to convey that info to him as soon as convenient so that Commander Klein, the detectives, and he will have as full an understanding of the scope and nature of the issue as possible before the meeting.
We hope to get a briefing on the whole scope of the issue, learn more granular detail about the method of entry so we can better prepare ourselves, and hear a bit on how MPD’s process will improve next time such a spree occurs.
