The ANC 2B/Dupont Circle committee on the 17th Street liquor license moratorium is having a second public meeting on March 3. The committee plans to relase its preliminary draft report on the moratorium and solicit public comment. From ANC 2B:

The ANC committee on the Dupont East (17th Street) liquor moratorium will be holding a second community meeting on the issue on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Foundry United Methodist Church, located at 16th & P NW.

At this community meeting, the ANC anticipates releasing a preliminary “draft” report on the Dupont East moratorium and solicit public input and comment on the same. Following the community meeting, the Committee may choose to amend its report based on community feedback, or may keep it as originally drafted. The committee will present a final report to the full ANC at our March 11 meeting, where the full ANC will take official action on the moratorium.

The draft report will include information reflecting the substantial community input received at our listening session held on Monday, February 2, and submitted to the committee via email and letter during the public comment period, which closed February 11.
