Police Seek Leads in April 25 Robbery, 1300 V St NW

ROBBERY SUSPECTS SOUGHT

(Washington, DC) – The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating two robbery suspects.

At approximately 12:30 am on Saturday, April 25, 2009, two male suspects attacked a man while he was seated inside a vehicle parked in the 1300 block of V Street, NW. The suspects then robbed the complainant of his property and fled the scene. The first suspect in this case is described as medium complexioned black male with a close haircut, 25-30 years of age, approximately 6’1″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark colored clothing. The second suspect is also described as a medium complexioned black male, 25-30 years of age, approximately 6’1″ tall with a medium build. He was wearing dark colored clothing and a hat with red coloring on it.

Shortly after the robbery at about 1:17 am, four suspects were captured on surveillance video using the victim’s credit card at the CVS Pharmacy located at 400 Massachusetts Avenue, NW. (SEE ATTACHED PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES)

Anyone with information about this case or who may know the identity of anyone in the CVS surveillance camera footage is asked to call police at (202)727-9099 or 1-888-919-CRIM [E] – 1-888-919-2746.

Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to DC Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS and to the department’s TEXT TIP LINE by text messaging 50411. If the information provided by the caller to Crime Solvers leads to an arrest and indictment, that caller will be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
