- Details: “Our May happy hour will be hosted by the owners of Mar de Plata, brothers Pedro and Joquin Alfaro. Mar de Plata has been a long-time supporter of LCCA, with frequent donations of delicious tapas to our events. Mar de Plata will be moving to its location on Jefferson Place in Dupont Circle at the end of the month, so we hope you’ll come out not only to meet your neighbors, but also to thank Pedro and Joquin for their 10 years in Logan Circle.”

The commemoration will feature remarks from local dignitaries, musical sections, and a wreath-laying cermony. It is followed by a reception (open to LCCA members) at the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House (1318 Vermont Avenue NW).”

- Details: “Plan on joining longtime Logan Circle resident Tim Christensen for Cutural Tourism DC’s annual “Walking Town-DC Spring Edition” walking tour of the Logan Circle neighborhood. Tours will take place on Saturday and Sunday, May 30 & 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. Participation is limited to 30 and reservations are required. We’ll make an announcement when the reservation system opens at Cultural Tourism DC (or you can visit the site now and sign up for weekly e-mail updates).”
