Source Theater Festival Opens Saturday; Runs 3 Weeks

The Source Festival 2009 starts this Saturday, June 20, at the Source Theater at 1835 14th Street NW and runs through July 12. Tickets and Schedule available online and all tickets are $18. Opening Night on Saturday includes a reception at 8 p.m. and the following performances:

  • 10-Minute Play: STEVE. Written by Elizabeth Bartucci; Directed by Gregg Henry; and Featuring Julie Garner as Ann and Joseph Thornhill as Steve.
  • Mash-Up: LISTENING… Created by Kathleen Akerley, Jeremy Haik and Vincent E. Thomas; Performed by Jeremy Haik and Vincent E. Thomas; and Voiceovers by Tom Carman, John Keena, Devon McChesney, Kevin McKenna and Richard Owens.
  • One Act Play (excerpt): BEAUTIFUL AMERICAN SOLDIER. By Dano Madden; Directed by Mark Ramont; Dramaturgy by Clementine Thomas; and Featuring Carlos Bustamante as Daniel Perez and Chuck Young as Isaiah Brown.
