The Sacrificial Lamb Kabobs n Pizza is now open at 1704 R Street NW. It offers affordable Middle Eastern food just off the 17th Street corridor (we always need more affordable food). The Yelp reviews are pretty good so far, so check it out.
Indulj is a soul food restaurant at 1208 U Street NW. Its Web promo says that the restaurant, “Embraces the flavor of soul food, while catering to a hip and sophisticated clientele.” Endulj has live music for lunch and weekends.
La Bonne Bistro at 1340 U Street NW is located in the former space of Axis Bar & Grill. Chef Daniel La Bonne has created a French menu for this restaurant that seems well priced with good atmosphere. A little spot of French cuisine on U Street.
