What’s going on with Hank’s Oyster Bar, the popular restaurant on Q Street just west of 17th? The owner went through a long approval process to open a few years back. Now, what would it take to expand the restaurant at its current location? Find out over at 14th & You… “Could Hank’s Be Driven Out of Dupont?” and at MetroWeekly: “Passion Plate.”

14th & You:

Whenever the discussion on this blog turns from snow and graffiti removal towards neighborhood business issues–in particular, restaurants and bars–the conversation inevitably turns towards the role that the ANC plays in neighborhood business affairs. It’s an argument I can honestly say has two sides.

Read Mr. 14th & You’s entire post. This blog often covers business and development related issues on 14th and U Streets NW… as well as the role of DC’s Advisory Neighborhood Commissions (ANCs). I would also watch the comments section on this post over there… the discussion may be interesting.
