An Opening, A Closing, Washington Improv Continues
It’s summertime in DC and the slow season is officially here at theaters in the Dupont-Logan-U Street area. You have three choices this weekend: catch the Saturday night opening of Noises Off at the Church Street Theater… the Washington Improv Theater is running at the Source on 14th Street through July 31… and New Jerusalem: The Interrogation of Baruch de Spinoza closes Sunday at the Goldman Theater at the DC Jewish Community Center through July 25.
Coming this fall: Moonlight opens September 9 at the Studio Theatre on 14th Street… and Sanctified opens October 21 at the Lincoln Theatre on U Street.
Meet Neighborhood Artists
Also, make plans now for Sunday, August 8, at the Source Theater for “Open Source: Meet Your Neighborhood Artists”–check the schedule as events run from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm. This event is part of the MidCity Business Association’s annual Dog Days Sidewalk Sale.
