Teak Wood Opens on 14th; Reservations Accepted

Teak Wood restaurant did a soft opening Thursday. Manager Benn Natao said they are still putting the finishing touches on the Thai and Sushi eatery at 1323 14th Street NW. They hope to do an official grand opening this coming week, after the liquor license is granted.
“Appetizers run $7 to $9 and entrees are in the $13 to $20 range,” Natao said.
Unlike some of the trendy new restaurants that have opened recently on the 14th Street corridor, Teak Wood accepts reservations and is open for lunch. The restaurant website is not up yet, but you can call them at 202-290-1856.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 11 am to 10 pm; Friday 11 am to 11 pm; Saturday noon to 11 pm; and Sunday noon to 10 pm.
