Weekend Openings at Long View, Transformer Galleries
Saturday is the last day to catch two artists at Irvine Contemporary on 14th Street: Phil Nesmith’s “Flow,” and Bruno Perillo’s “Uniform.” It’s also the final day to see “Fairy Tale Meets Flesh” from James Rieck and Jonathan Monaghan at Hamiltonian Gallery on U Street NW. There are new exhibitions opening this weekend as well. Friday night is the opening reception at Long View for Scott Brooks’ exhibit, “We The People.” On Saturday, Transformer Gallery on P Street NW hosts an open house for their new exhibit, “Tang: Freedom & Its Owner.” Visitors can enjoy Lillie Ruth Bussey and flavored coffees and chocolates by ACKC from 1pm to 7pm.
