If the cold weather and holiday season has you feeling out of sorts, you’re not alone. Over at the Source on 14th St. NW the Washington IMPROV Theater is running Seasonal Disorder through Dec. 31:
“The chaos and heightened emotions of the holiday season meet…The chaos and heightened emotions of WIT’s long-form improvisation. Seasonal Disorder is a grab-bag of ho-ho-ho-inducing comedy! Each and every show is a different, brand-new performance, all unscripted.”
There are Sunday and Monday-night shows at the Lincoln Theatre on U St. First, is Meskerem Bekele – One Night Stand Comedy on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 5 pm. On Monday, Dec. 13, at 7 pm at the Lincoln, take in Three Seconds in the Key: “Presented in collaboration with Theater J, join us for a dramatic play reading. Obie Award-winning playwright Deb Margolin explores the dynamics of parent-child communications.”
Still running are Superior Donuts at the Studio Theatre, 1501 14th St. NW, which has been extended due to popular demand until Jan. 2, and Golden Boy at the Church Street-Keegan Theatre on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
