PIZZA No. 17 Replacing Pasha Bistro on 17th Street

Pasha Bistro at 1523 17th Street NW closed its doors Monday night, but will reopen March 1 as PIZZA No. 17. Owner Payam Yazdani said the menu will slant toward organic, gourmet pizza. “We will have a wood-fired pizza oven,” he said. Think Pizza Paradisio.

While the pizzeria isn’t open, but you can go ahead and get a gift certificate: “For our loyal customers, please email us at [email protected] for a $15 gift certificate.”
Yazdani and his father, “Mr. Eddie,” are also the owners of Java House on Q Street just off 17th Street NW.
