The monthly public meeting of Police Service Area (PSA) 208 is Tuesday night, February 15, at 7 pm. Location is the MPD Third District Headquarters at 1620 V Street NW. These monthly meetings are a roundtable and residents are encouraged to bring any issues for discussion related to crime and public safety in the Dupont Circle area.

PSA 208 covers the Dupont-Kalorama area and it is led by Lt. Scott Dignan. The PSA is part of MPD’s Second District. MPD posts crime reports and news on the Second District Yahoo! listserv.

The following is a list of robberies, assaults, sex crimes, drug crimes, stolen autos and burglaries in the Dupont-Logan-U Street area over the past week. Crimes are from police reports for Police Service Areas 208, 305 and 307.

Robbery

  • Tuesday, February 8, 11:36 pm, 900 block of N Street NW (residence).
  • Friday, February 11, 8:45 pm, 2200 block of 11th Street NW.
  • Saturday, February 12, 1:30 am, 2200 block of 11th Street NW.
  • Sunday, February 13, 9:28 pm, 1700 block of Connecticut Avenue NW (restaurant).
  • Monday, February 14, 5 pm, 1200 block of S Street NW.
  • Monday,February 14, 7:55 pm, 2100 block of Vermont Avenue NW.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Burglary

  • Saturday, February 5 to Monday, February 7, 2000 block of Massachusetts Avenue NW (office building).

  • Friday, February 11, 8 am to 7 pm, 1700 block of T Street NW: “The victim reported that an unknown suspect(s) entered her home through the window leading to the fire escape after prying the screen from its tracks. No items were stolen. There is no lookout for the suspect(s).”
  • Friday, February 11, 7 to 11 pm, 1500 block of 18th Street NW: “The victims reported that an unknown suspect(s) entered their home in an unknown manner. Once inside they stole numerous laptop computers, iPods, a Kindle and U.S. currency. There is no lookout for the suspect(s).”

  • Friday, February 11, 8 am, 1500 block of R Street NW (residence).
