Crimes of Note: February 23

The warm weather of late last week brought a noticeable uptick in the number of robberies and assaults on the street — more people on the street means, unfortunately, more targets. Last week’s crime report had eight robberies and one assault; this week there were 10 robberies and five assaults.

Remember that MPD (DC Police) posts crime reports and news on the Second District Yahoo! listserv and on the Third District Yahoo! listserv. PSA 208 is in 2D while PSA 305 and PSA 307 are in 3D.

The following is a list of robberies, assaults, sex crimes, drug crimes, stolen autos and burglaries in the Dupont-Logan-U Street area over the past week. Crimes are from police reports for Police Service Areas (PSA) 208, 305 and 307.

Robbery
