Fur-Get Me Not Dog Wash at 1722 Florida Avenue NW will host a charity dog wash event this Saturday, March 5. The $20 fee for the standard doggie bath will benefit Lost Dog & Cat Rescue (LDCR) — you do the washing yourself at the store with their facilities.
LDCR places about 2,000 dogs and cats each year into adoptive homes in the D.C. Metro area. At this Saturday’s event LDCR volunteers will be doing the washing of the dogs. In addition they will also bring along dogs that need a home.
So, whether you have a four-legged friend who needs a bath, or you are interested in adopting one, come out for some good, clean fun for a worthy cause
