Thursday: Dining Out For Life Benefits Food & Friends

C’mon. Be honest. You were gonna eat out anyway! This Thursday, March 10, you’re gonna head out to happy hour after work you should Dine Out for Life — an evening of dining for a very important cause, taking place all across the city to benefit Food & Friends.
“Food & Friends is the only nonprofit organization in the Washington area providing daily, home-delivered, specialized meals, groceries and nutrition counseling to individuals in the community who are facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. The funds raised through Dining Out for Life allows Food & Friends to continue to provide these critical services at NO COST to the clients.”
Participating restaurants will donate all or a portion of their proceeds this Thursday to this organization that provides meals and groceries to nearly 1,500 people in the DC metro area who are facing HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-changing illnesses.
