Today’s photo, “Logan Circle,” is from Zurga DC and was taken on April 15  in Logan Circle. From the National Park Service page: “Nos. 1 and 2 Logan Circle is a double house designed in the Second Empire style and constructed around 1880, which aggressively occupies the prominent southwest position on the circle. In its heyday, the circle was a fashionable address, the home of prominent businessmen and statesmen. By the mid-1890s, the wealthy were beginning to build their mansions further west toward Dupont Circle. Today, Logan Circle is the focus of renewed restoration and preservation activity”.

If you don’t already have a Flickr account, you will need to sign up for one, and then join the Borderstan Reader Photos group. Already a Flickr member? Join the group and submit up to five photos per day in the pool. We are looking for photos from D.C.’s Dupont, Logan and U Street neighborhoods.
