Borderstan: News from Dupont-Logan-U Street

The Urban Neighborhood Alliance is collecting toiletries for Charlie’s Place. Charlies’ Place is a support group for the homeless that operates out of St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church at 1830 Connecticut Avenue NW.

You can drop off toiletry items at Ross School, 1730 R Street NW, on Saturday, December 10 during the final day of the Ross PTA Holiday Tree sale (on the Ross School Playground).

Charlie’s Place offers hot meals and counseling, and has placed dozens of homeless people in housing and jobs, getting them off of the streets.
