Update on DGS Delicatessen: New Pics, No Date

Huffington Post pries loose some info on expected deli by Barry Koslow, slated for a Dupont Circle opening… sometime. The pictures indicate a lot of work has yet to be done to ready the deli for matzah ball soup, pastrami and blintzes.

Some of the ‘updated’ Jewish dishes planned sound like a delectable departure from the usual Dupont lunch scene and maybe even an improvement on Bubbie’s cooking. The place will be called DGS Delicatessen and the space is 1317 Connecticut Avenue NW — everything else seems up in the heavy, chicken-broth scented air.
