A Saturday afternoon party for toddlers and kids on the mezzanine at Logan Circle Whole Foods brought out several dozen families from the Logan Circle area. From 11 am to 2 pm, they enjoyed refreshments, Valentine Card making, cookie decorating and face painting.

The event was organized by Moms in Logan Circle with help from the Logan Circle Whole Foods on P Street NW and the Logan Circle Community Association (LCCA).

Joelle Myers of Moms in Logan Circle said, “Evelyn had spoken to Whole Foods after our Little Goblins Halloween Parade and they said they’d be interested in doing something again. So Evelyn and I worked together to put on this Valentine’s day event. Our guests were the children and  families of Moms in Logan Circle, of which we are both members.”

Whole Foods provided the venue, food, and beverages and sponsored the cookie decorating activity. LCCA and Mandy and David real estate team sponsored the face painter; Mandy and David  covered the crafts and decorations.

Several local officials also stopped by to help out and greet the families: ANC2F Chair Mike Benardo, Councilmember Jack Evans (D-Ward 2) and Ward 2 School Board Representative Mary Lord.
