Ross PTA Auction: See the Buddy Scooter at VIDA on Saturday
This Genuine Buddy 125 scooter is one of the items in the 2012 Ross Elementary School PTA Auction — and you can get a first-hand look at it on Saturday at VIDA Fitness, 1612 U Street NW, from 10 am to 4 pm. VIDA is one of the sponsors of this year’s auction, along with Modern Classics, which provided the scooter.

The live auction is this Saturday, March 10, 5 to 8 pm at the German Marshall Fund, 1744 R Street NW. The event is open to everyone.
You can bid online for items until 8 pm tonight, Thursday, March 8.

There is something for everyone, in a variety of categories and price ranges: All About Kids, Class Projects/Staff Treasures, Culture & Art, Dinner & Entertainment, Food & Wine, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Hotels & Memberships, Local Celebrities, Specialty Items & Services, Sports & Entertainment and Travel & Outings.

Ross Elementary is a public neighborhood school at 1730 R Street NW. The school, like many others in the city and beyond, needs to raise cash to buy tablets and laptops for students and staff. The funds raised at the annual auctions also help support professional development for teachers, as well as student scholarships for their after-school enrichment programs.
Borderstan and Level One restaurant are also sponsors of this year’s auction.
