This time the weather cooperated. Dance in the Circle, rescheduled from April 21, was blessed with clear skies and cool spring weather yesterday. Ten dance companies performed between 3 and 9 pm — with help from the crowd, of course, especially during the open dancing hour at 8 pm.
The companies participating Sunday were DancEthos, Dance Dimensions, Calico Cloggers, Urban Impact, DEVIATED THEATRE, YaLa Fitness, darlingdance company, Urban Artistry, Hoop Dance DC, Urban Artistry, – 9 pm: Open dancing
The event was organized by co-producers Daniel Kramer and Michael Lipin and featured nine local dance companies.
