On June 10, the DC Chamber Music Players Orchestra will hold its first public concert at Church of the Holy City, 1611 16th Street NW.

The concert, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 pm and features two solo pianists, Tanya Lee and Mila Naumova-Roushakes.

Local area musician and seasoned conductor, Robert Goeke, will lead the orchestra through several well-known pieces, including Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 and Bach’s English Suite.

Founded in 2007 by Robert Myers, the DC Chamber Music Players Orchestra promotes a collegial, non-competitive environment for local musicians to come together and play various instruments for enjoyment and collective fun.

For more information on the event, visit the Church of the Holy City website.
