Update: Arrest Made in 5:30 PM Gun Robbery at 8th and V NW

June 17 Update: MPD Third District Commander Jacob Kishter reported on the 3D Listserv that an arrest was made in Saturday’s robbery at 8th and V Streets NW:
“A lookout for the suspect and the vehicle he was driving was given to surrounding police districts. Officers in the Second District observed a subject matching the lookout for the robbery in the parking lot at Georgetown University Hospital. The vehicle he was operating was also located. The subject was positively identified by the victim as the subject who committed the robbery.”

There was a gun robbery late this afternoon, June 16, at 8th and V Streets NW, according to a DC Police Alert. The crime took place at 5:30 pm.
