There was a gun robbery at shortly before 2 am this morning, Sunday, July 8, at 11th and U Streets NW.

Details from the Police Alert: “Robbery (Gun) 0144 hrs 11th & U St NW LOF: B/M, 20-22 years, 5’11”, dk complx, red/wht sht, red/blk/wht baseball cap L/S west on V St.  DO NOT TAKE ACTION CALL 911 W/EVENT #I20120339631. Sent on: 07/08 02:12.”
