This Saturday, July 14, Chef Kenac Productions hosts the The Big Dupont Market Fair at the corner of 15th and P Streets NW, in the parking lot of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. The Facebook page features some of the items you can expect to find for sale.

The event features local vendors, including Doors to Africa, De Nada Designs, Pet Tag Creations and other artisans and crafters.

Spend some time outside, grab a new barbecue sauce or piece of artwork and brunch outside in the open air, in the heart of the Borderstan neighborhood!

Why is this called the Big DuPont Market? It’s only a block and a half from Logan Circle, but it’s 3 and a half blocks from Dupont Circle. The Logan Circle neighborhood is generally considered to be East of 16th St, so this market is well within the borders of Logan.

I’m sure it’s a fine market and I’ll gladly patronize it, but seems like the name is trying to create confusion with the ACTUAL Dupont Market at 20th and Q.

  2. The line between Dupont and Logan is, indeed, debatable and your question is understandable. I think the city more or less considers 15th the dividing line. Again, though, I have seen more than one map with line drawn at either 15th or 16th. Also, remember that a portion of ANC 2B goes all the way to 14th.
