Post Office Open at Reeves Center

Since July 9, the US Post Office branch has been open atn 14th and U Streets NW at the Reeves Center. The post office story has been a long one. At first, the US Postal Service was not going to reopen a new branch after closing the 14th and T Streets NW location closed.
This led to intense lobbying by local officials to relocate the branch within the neighborhood. After much back and forth, the new location in the Reeves Center is now open to customers.
The new post office is open after renovations to the previous space, occupied by Emma Mae Gallery. It has brand new furniture and post office boxes are available for customers.
The Post Office hours are:
- Monday to Friday: 9 am – 5 pm
- Saturday: 9 am – 1 pm
- Sunday: Closed
