Signs of fall are all over the city, so celebrate the season with some family-friendly fun at the Kids’ Corner Fall Fair this Saturday, October 20, at Mitchell Park (23rd and S Streets NW).

Here are some activities you can expect at the Fair:

  • Pumpkin painting
  • Moon bounce
  • Toddler hay rides
  • Face painting
  • Live music and dancing (performers include musician John Henry, the Georgetown University Children’s Theater, Sabra Lewis Hula Dancing and Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers)

A variety of lunch and dessert items from local restaurants will also be available throughout the day.

The Kids’ Corner Fall Fair is free to attend; tickets will be sold for individual activities and food, or attendees can purchase an all-inclusive bracelet for $20. Proceeds from the event benefit the Kids’ Corner Day Care Center’s music education program.

For more information, visit the Kids’ Corner’s website.

The event will be held rain or shine! The rain location is at the Kids’ Corner facilities, around the corner from Mitchell Park at 2200 California Street NW.
