Neighborhood politicians and development folks are kicking-off next week with meetings to discuss political potential and project progress. Here are the details:

The 13th and U Project

JBG will hold a meeting on the 13th & U Project this coming Monday (October 22) at the Thurgood Marshall Center (1816 12th Street NW) at 7 pm. The meeting will review design updates based on residents’ input and the final draft of the benefits package. The meeting is open to the public.

ANC 2B Candidate Forum

On Monday, October 22, the Community Involvement Committee of ANC 2B will host a candidate forum for all ANC candidates standing on the ballot for election on November 6. The forum will be held at the Chastleton Ballroom (1701 16th Street NW).

The event will be moderated by resident activists and will begin at 7 pm.
