Ever wonder how our nation’s historical events would play out in modern times — especially on social media platforms, such as Twitter and Facebook?

At Cause Philanthropub on Sunday, January 27, Civil War expert Aaron Killian will lead a discussion on how the country might have responded to a national war in today’s current society and culture. How could our nation endure such carnage? What changes occurred in society, religion, and the role of women? These are just some of the questions Killian will ask to a group of wandering minds.

Tickets are $5 for “early birds” (the first 20 customers), $9 in advance and $12 at the door.

Cause Philanthropub is located at 1926 9th Street NW. The event is from 6 until 8 pm. For more information, visit the website.
