The next time you have guests coming into town, Lauren Levine isn’t the only one who can help you show them a good time in DC – the federal government may be able to lend a hand, as well.
The National Capital Planning Commission will hold a public forum on Wednesday, February 20, to present draft polices for the updated Federal Visitors & Commemoration Element for the Comprehensive Plan. The policies are being revised to highlight the federal government’s role in supporting the visitor experience in the District.
Sustainability and various forms of transportation for visitors to the city and region are a few elements featured in the revised plan. Memorial planning and preservation is also included.
The meeting will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the National Capital Planning Commission, 401 9th Street NW, Suite 500, and is open to the public. For more information, visit the NCPC website.
