Arrest Made in Attempted Carjacking, 900 Block T Street NW
A juvenile male with a knife approached a woman as she was entering her car around shortly before 4 pm Monday on the 900 block of T Street NW. He demanded her car, but fled after she called the police. The attempted carjacking occurred near the woman’s house, according to DC Police.
Police units were in the area and arrested the suspect nearby on the 1100 block of French Street NW. The woman was not injured and her car was not taken, according to DC Police.
