It is the final weekend for FIST  from the Washington Improv Theater at the Source (1835 14th Street NW). Improv is an “original act of art created in an instant and then gone forever.”

FIST — Fighting Improv Smackdown Tournament –is an improv tournament, bracketed style. A total of 67 three-person teams have competed for four weeks and the final night is Saturday, April 13.

As the organizers explain, “With the suggestion of one word, actors spontaneously and skillfully craft the next several minutes with dialogue, movements and even silence. The key is listening for the cue for the next twist in the act. The give-and-take creates a sense of lightness, the unknown and absolute trust. Improv actors build a strong connection with one another and the audience.”

If you want to have fun and enjoy a great night of wonderful performances, don’t miss it.
