Wednesday: Jewelry Trunk Show at VeraCruz Gallery

VeraCruz Gallery (2108 Vermont Avenue NW) will host the ART BUZZ Jewelry Trunk Show on April 17. The event will feature hundreds of vintage and newly designed jewelry pieces, priced from $15 to $100.

The event is hosted by DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative board members Cher Castillo Freeman and Jade Floyd, along with Ora Nwabueze, owner of VeraCruz Gallery.

The trunk show offers a preview of the newest exhibition coming to the Vera Cruz Gallery, featuring the jewelry of New York based artist Haruto Imamura, and also features the following designers:

• Prissy Treasures
• Gail Murdock
• Deidree Bennett
• Elizabeth Rothschild

The showcase will raise funds for the DC Arts and Humanities Education Collaborative’s Arts for Every Student Program.

The event takes place from 6 to 8:30 pm; there is a $10 donation at the door, which includes a drink ticket and light appetizers.
