Persons of Interest Filmed in Violent Shaw Robbery

Police are seeking six persons of interest in connection with a violent robbery that occurred early Sunday morning on the 1400 block of 5th Street, near the Kennedy Recreation Center in Shaw.

In a video released by D.C. police, six individuals, many of whom appear to be male, can be seen holding a victim down and forcibly robbing them.

Throughout the robbery, some of the individuals appear to take turns punching and kicking the victim. Roughly half a minute into the assault, the individuals run away.

Anyone who has information regarding this case should call police at 202-727-9099. Additionally, information may be submitted to the text tip line by text messaging 50411. The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a robbery committed in the District of Columbia.
