Condo Complex Near 14th Street NW Sells Out for $800 per Square Foot
Sorry, tech company wunderkinds and stylish government lobbyists. Another swanky condo complex near 14th Street has sold out.
Urban Pace, a home sales firm, announced in a press release today it sold the last remaining condominium in the Victoria, a condo complex located just north of the 14th and U street corridors at 1443 Chapin St NW.
The complex is composed of 16 one- and two-bedroom residences, which includes four luxury duplex penthouses.
According to the release, a condo at the Victoria comes with elevator service, underground parking, “and some of the best views in the city.”
The price? As much as $800 per square foot, reports Urban Pace. Condo prices ranged from $350,000 to $1,077,000.
“Victoria sold at prices that exceeded our expectations,” said Urban Pace President Lynn Hackney in the release. “A testament to the project’s quality construction and excellent location with the best of both worlds: the tranquility of Meridian Hill Park and proximity to the restaurants, shops, and nightlife along 14th and U Streets.”
For the record, $1,077,000 could buy approximately 195,818 plain cheese jumbo slices and a small mountain of Ben’s Chili Bowl half smokes.
